Susan Grierson-Rattray

Susan joined us in October 2020 and is one of our Senior Solicitors. She qualified in the year 2000 and came to us with vast experience across various practice areas. Susan spent the first part of her career working in Fife before relocating to Glasgow in 2013.  Her main focus for the majority of her career has been family law.  As well as acting on behalf of clients, Susan has been appointed by the court to prepare reports in court cases involving children (such as adoptions and disputes between family members about matters such as with whom children should reside and who should have contact with them).

Susan prides herself on her rapport with clients, recognising that clients seeking assistance in connection with family matters need not only effective legal advice but also understanding and compassion, during what is often a most challenging time.  Susan has acted for many clients in cases involving disputes relating to the care arrangements for children; domestic abuse separations and divorces with financial matters to be resolved, both in and out of court.  Susan listens to her clients and delivers clear and concise advice in an empathetic manner.”

In my experience Clarity and Simplicity are a very reliable firm.
